Can we upgrade our Membership as we write more books and need to promote more?
Yes, you can. The one caveat is that when you upgrade, you will be upgraded based on the pricing at the time of your upgrade. The prices above will rise as our database of readers grows.
Can I split a membership with a friend?
That is 100% up to you. Please note that each membership comes with a single Coupon Code that is good for the number of GOLD Book Promotion Packages you’ve purchased. If your friend says they are only going to use two of the packages and they use them all, you’ll have no promotions left for your books.
We are a small publishing house, can we join the Author Marketing Club?
Best Book Monkey works with publishing houses, agents, promoters, author admins, thousands of authors, and with anyone who is connected to the publishing industry. We’re happy to have you join the Author Marketing Club.
I’m not an author. Can I use your service?
Our service is designed for authors, writers, freelancers, bloggers, and anyone connected to the publishing industry.
As long as you aren’t planning a site that requires intensive server resources, we’d love to have you join us!

What forms of payment do you accept?

What is your cancellation policy?

Each Membership comes with a fixed number of GOLD Book Promotion Packages. We are happy to promote any books that meet our Editorial Requirements. So, yes, you can promote someone else’s books. And we hope they say Thank You!

Are there any limitations on the hosting?
Our hosting is designed for authors, writers, and bloggers. We do not allow dynamic websites that consume significant server resources.
Video hosting and steaming are not allowed. If you want videos on your site, please host them on YouTube, Vimeo, or other video platforms designed for streaming video. There are many WordPress plugins designs to steam videos to your website from the major streaming platforms.
We do not allow websites focused primarily on general shopping or dropshipping sites. You may sell your books and related products from your website.

How do we know this isn’t some low-end web host that barely works?
This website and our client websites are all hosted on Verpex.com. They are a world-case hosting company with clients in 181 countries.

Will you design my WordPress site for me?
Yes. The Monkey’s Design Team would be happy to design an amazing site for you.

My website is build on Drupal, Joomla or another CMS, can I still use your service?
We can spin up an instance of many popular CMS platforms, including Drupal and Joomla.
However, our email marketing platform MailPoet only integrates with WordPress.

Do I get a free domain name?
We provide a fully functioning WordPress website for each our of Author Marketing Club Members. For those that don’t want to register their own domain, we’re happy to provide a website on one of our domains.

Can we use my existing domain?
Yes. We can use your existing domain.
If you currently have a “free domain” that is included as part of a hosting package, you need to transfer your domain BEFORE you cancel your hosting plan.
We highly recommend using NameSilo.com for domains.
Can I transfer my domain to you?
We believe that it is in an author’s best interest to register their domain with a company that specializes in domain registration.
Most major hosting companies do make transferring domains as easy as possible, but some web developers and a few hosting providers are known to hold domain names “hostage.” If you register or transfer to a reputable company, you’ll always have access and control of your domain.

Are there any limitations on email marketing?
Our email marketing package is designed for authors, writers, and bloggers. We do not allow SPAM.
As we use the email marketing platform from MailPoet, you are subject to their terms, conditions, and rules, which are very similar to every other quality email marketing provider in the market.
What if I have more than 50,000 subscribers?
If you have more than 50,000 subscribers, you are rocking it as an author! Congratulations. We’re impressed.
Please use the contact form on this page to send us a message. Include the number of subscribers that you currently have and how often you generally send out newsletters. We’ll get back to you with specific options for marketing-master authors like you.
Will you help me migrate from Mailchimp or other providers?
Yes. If you are currently using a different email marketing provider, we’ll help you get your list moved.
Once you sign up, we’ll work together to export your list from your current provider, validate and clean your list, and import it into MailPoet on your new website’s administrative interface.
Once imported, MailPoet will email each of your contacts to confirm that they want to remain on your email marketing list. This is the best way to maintain a quality list with a good open and click rate.
What should I do if my list is old and I haven’t emailed them in a while?
Please contact us and provide some details about your list. We can help you run a validation scan for bad email addresses.
When we import your list into our email marketing platform, your contacts will receive an email that requires them to confirm that they want to receive email from you.
Book Cover Design FAQs
Can I get both an eBook cover and a paperback cover?
Yes. When we design your cover, we’ll ask in what format(s) you’re planning to publish.
If you are planning on hardcover, paperback, or audiobook, we’ll need all the dimensions and all the text/images you’ll want to use.
If I need both an eBook cover and a paperback book cover for the same book, does that count as one or two book covers?
That counts as ONE book cover. We design the covers you need to make sure that your book covers are consistent.
What does Unlimited Revisions really mean?
It means unlimited revisions. The Best Book Monkey Team is going to design the perfect cover for your book. That means the cover that you love. That may mean going back and forth multiple times until you are happy with the book cover design.
After we design the perfect cover for you and you’ve gone off and won an award for your book, we’ll revise your cover to include the award.
However, once we “finalize” your design (with however many revisions that takes), you can not come back years later for a completely new look and feel. That would count as a new book cover.
Will you redesign my ugly book cover?
One of the worst metaphors ever is “don’t judge a book by its cover.” EVERYONE DOES EXACTLY THAT! But too many authors think that maybe people don’t judge books by their covers.
YES! We would be thrilled to help you get rid of that ugly book cover and replace it with some thing beautiful and appealing.
What if we need more book covers than our membership includes?
Please CONTACT THE MONKEY TEAM to discuss your book cover design needs. We are happy to provide reasonable pricing for additional book covers.
Do we have to supply our own images for the book covers?
No. We’ll design your book cover from scratch. If we are using images, we recommend you select images from Dreamstime.com, as we can provide their royalty-free images as properly licensed images for your book.
Of course, if you have images that you want to use, and have the rights to use those images, we’ll be happy to incorporate them into the design.
Will the book covers just be some lame covers and templates that you purchased?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Each cover is uniquely designed by graphic design professionals. And you won’t see your first draft until it’s been reviewed by at least two team members.
Is Best Book Monkey’s name splattered across my book cover?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! We hope you tell people about our Author Marketing Club, but your cover will be a pristine, beautiful cover that you’ll be proud to show off.
Do we get the source files for our book covers?
Yes. We will provide the source files. We will also keep them on file in case we need to make any updates for you.
Can you design a quick book cover for my book that is launching tomorrow?
No. We focus on designing the best cover possible for your book. You need to plan on it taking more than a day. Depending on the complexity of the design and your requirements, we may be going back and forth for while until we hit that point of book cover nirvana!
What’s the gotcha about Best Book Monkey’s book cover designs?
