Even-tempered, mild-mannered Ben doesn’t expect to bump into his nemesis, Delia, ten years after she fled Glenloch, in Flora’s tea room and book shop. Things get a whole lot worse when his business partner, Andy, informs Ben that Delia is the client he’ll be taking on a weekend-long hike in the mountains.

When a storm hits unexpectedly, Ben and Delia are forced to stay together in a cave. Will the unhappy pair be able to come to an understanding about the falling-out they had ten years ago? Or are Ben and Delia doomed to go on hating each other for all of eternity?

Andy is a second chance short read. When Claire left Andy standing at the altar on his wedding day, he vowed he’d never love again. But now Claire’s back in Glenloch in the Scottish Highlands, and it’s clear she’s still not ready to spill the secrets about why she left.

Determined to get answers, Andy tracks Claire to a lookout point on the edge of the mountain, where he learns the truth about why she left all those years ago. But Claire isn’t planning on sticking around, and Andy needs to find a way to make her change her mind and stay in Glenloch. To stay with him.

Cal has mistaken identity, age gap and grumpy sweet. Cal lives in the mountains because he doesn't want to be found. So when he discovers a young woman secretly following him on the trail one day, he decides to confront her. What he wasn't expecting was for Victoria to introduce herself as the daughter he never knew he had.

But the timelines don't work, and it turns out that Victoria's real father is Anthony, a hermit living in the most remote part of the mountain. Cal is the only person he allows to visit him but Anthony isn't ready to acknowledge Victoria's existence. Devastated by the recent death of her mother and her father's rejection, Victoria is broken. Cal quickly realizes he's fallen hard for Victoria, but falling in love – especially with a younger woman – was definitely not in his plans. Are Cal and Victoria too broken to make a relationship work? Or will Victoria find love and a new life in Glenloch?

Gav has a slightly older MFC with a disability and the younger man who pines for her. Chef Gav has loved well-known sculptor Rosie since he was 12 years old, when she came to stay in Glenloch with his sister, Jen. Jen’s opening her own gallery in Glenloch and an opening exhibition by Rosie is the main attraction. What the adoring public don’t know is that Rosie was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, a painful condition that makes sculpting almost impossible. Not only that, but Rosie’s husband left her for another woman. With a dream to start her life again in Glenloch, opening a community art center, Rosie has no idea that Gav is in love with her. But when a mysterious investor threatens to steal her chance of buying the center, Gav knows this is his chance to step up and secure Rosie’s future – in Glenloch and, if the fates allow, with him.
