Does your family's relationship with screens feel out of control?
You set limits. They push back. You give in. And the cycle starts again.
If this sounds familiar, you are not alone - and more importantly, you are not failing.
Managing screen time is one of the most common struggles facing modern parents, and the advice out there is often conflicting, unrealistic, or simply out of touch with how busy families actually live.
Parenting in the Digital World: Screen Time Checklist is a practical, research-backed guide that gives you a clear, workable system for managing screen time - without eliminating technology, without constant conflict, and without one-size-fits-all rules that don't fit your family.
Inside, you'll find:
Simple checklists and ready-to-use tools that take the guesswork out of setting healthy screen time boundaries
Age-specific strategies for every stage - from toddlers and preschoolers through to teenagers and social media
Color-coded guidelines so you can go straight to what's relevant for your children right now
Daily routine frameworks for calmer mornings, after-school hours, and evening wind-downs
Practical advice for navigating resistance and setbacks - because no family gets this perfect
Long-term strategies for raising digitally responsible children who learn to make healthy choices independently
Whether you're dealing with tablet meltdowns at age four or social media battles at sixteen, this book meets you exactly where you are. Tazkiyah Stone writes as a parent who has lived through the same struggles - and found a way through that is grounded in real family life, not theory.
This is not a book about fear or restriction. The focus is on building a positive digital culture in your home - one small, sustainable step at a time.
Perfect for:
- Parents of toddlers, school-age children, tweens and teenagers
- Families looking to reduce screen time without conflict
- Parents seeking healthy screen time habits, digital wellness strategies, and age-appropriate technology boundaries
Progress, not perfection. That's all it takes.
